Following the Extraordinary General meeting on 6 July, Christina Herder was elected the new Chair of the board of TikoMed, thereby replacing Juan Vergez, who had been interim chairman since the AGM in early May.
Christina Herder has a PhD in Physical Chemistry and has spent most of her career in the pharmaceutical industry. Following senior leadership roles within drug development and business development at Pharmacia, Biovitrum, Sobi and Medivir, she has acted as Chief Executive Officer and board member of several small startup companies. She is now a board professional with several board positions in small-medium sized startup companies and her experience will contribute greatly to the future development of TikoMed.

Juan Vergez and Martin Bruce, who were elected board members at the AGM, will remain on the board following Dr Herder’s appointment, bringing the total number of board members to six.
