Cell and Gene Meeting on the Mesa
TikoMed is kicking of partnering for its cell therapy program IBsolvMIR, founded in the finding of an effective treatment against IBMIR (Instant Blood Mediated Inflammatory Reaction), an activation of the innate immunity including complement avtivation, infiltration of inflammatory cells and clotting, TikoMed has performed extensive development and documented significant additional effects making IBsolvMIR the ideal drug to help infused cells survive innate immune attacks, facilitates passage thorough the lung , aid engraftment and helps vascularization. IBsolvMIR has alredy been documented for safety and efficacy in 67 healthy volonteers and in 10 patients receiving islet transplantation.
In addition to studies already underway in islet transplantation for severe diabetes, TikoMed is planning to extend the program to increase efficacy in HSTC transplantation in therapies that are already in clinic. Simultaneously a network of collaborations are being built with companies in development stage that are seeking to secure an optimal outcome from their clinical trials.
